To The One That Loves

So, I love you because the entire universe conspired to help me find you.

Paulo Coelho

Dear Quiet Companion,

You love deeply don’t you? Deeper than most. Things strike you to your absolute core. You drown in it. Would you want it any other way?

Truly, consider it. Would a life of shallow encounters be as beautiful? Would a life of unfeeling and simplicity be of more value? It could not be so? To be involved in life, involved with life, with your entire being, it is possibly the greatest venture you could uptake. To take on loving fully, completely, without fear. Well that is a task isn’t it? May be one of life’s greatest callings.

To love, without expectation. To give, without needing. To feel all it is you feel and allow it to be so.

Why do you push the feelings away? Why not feel it all? Feel everything in its fullness. For you are human! That is what makes you alive! To feel it all!

Why supress that which makes you so wonderful. To hide, to shelter, to withhold, is only ever a disservice to your own inner knowing’s.

You retract, when you should be blooming. Take all the love your body accumulates and pour it into something. Give it to someone. Give it to life. Give it to yourself.

But do not let it wither away inside of you. For that will slowly weaken your soul.

Do not hold all of this love and let it bottle up. For then it will be incorrectly attached to that which it does not belong.

The moment it fills and you need to release, it may be given too quickly to the first thing that walks by.

Give love, into everything, and everyone at all points. For you are in endless supply. The whole heart does not belong to one reckless soul. It belongs to the world. It belongs to you.

So love, love everything and love loving. Do not hold it inside. In a mysterious way, bottled love kills. It kills the soul. It kills that which it wrongly attaches to.
